Shows feelings
This robot head can show emotions, mimicking the expressions of his human counterpart. This requires a precise sequence of movements from each individual facial feature.
Many moving elements are inside the robot‘s head and these need to offer reliable, continuous operation.
The drive units for moving the facial features also have to be robust and long-lasting, with a minimal number of components.
This application uses small and low-backlash iglide® plain bearings in close proximity.
